Fall/Winter Schedule

Dance Class with Mrs. Brittany

4/4-5/30- No class on 4/18

Dance class will give children an experience of classical modes of dance such as jazz, modern, and ballet as well as allowing opportunities for children to explore their own creative movement. Each child will gain an appreciation for the unique movement ability, aesthetic, and creative capacity of his or her body while developing skills in balance, agility, and musicality.

Ms. Brittany grew up wanting to be a dancer from a young age and received her initial training at the Arvada Center here in Colorado. She later graduated cum laude from the UMKC Conservatory of Music and Dance with a BFA in dance and a dual emphasis in ballet and modern. She then went on to dance with Ad Deum Dance Company in Houston, Texas. With Ad Deum, Brittany had the privilege of performing solo and group works in Houston and in New York City under the philosophy of sharing the Gospel through beauty and art. Brittany returned to Denver in 2010 to start a family with Deacon Basil and to pursue dance teaching and a career in physical therapy. She loves helping students discover the integration of their body with their thoughts and feelings as well as facilitating their participation in something beautiful.
